The Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population is speeding up issuing citizenship scrutiny cards ahead of the upcoming General Election to safeguard the right to vote, state media reported.

With the aim of safeguarding the right to vote, the officials and staff from the Department of Immigration and Population have been working hard even on off-days to ensure voters lists with correct citizenship scrutiny card numbers and cards are issued to citizens across the country ahead of the General Election.
