Myanmar reported 897 more confirmed COVID-19 cases on Monday, according to a release from the Ministry of Health and Sports Xinhua reported.

The newly confirmed cases brought the number of cases of COVID-19 in the country to 11,631 in total.

A total of 30 more COVID-19 deaths were also reported on Monday, bringing the death toll in the country to 256 in total, the release said.
