The total number of COVID-19 cases in Myanmar has risen to 353, with two more imported cases on Thursday, Xinhua reported quoting the Ministry of Health and Sports.

According to a ministry statement, the newly confirmed cases are returnees who were under quarantine after their recent arrivals from Thailand and Malaysia.

A total of 112,381 samples were tested for COVID-19 so far and 6,715 patients are under investigation at present, the ministry's figures said.
