COVID-19 cases increase to over 10,000

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Myanmar has increased to 10,734 as of Sunday, Xinhua reported.

A total of 743 more COVID-19 confirmed cases were reported on Sunday. The death toll of COVID-19 reached 226 with 28 newly reported deaths on Sunday in the country.

The national-level Central Committee on Prevention, Control and Treatment of COVID-19 issued a night-time curfew in some regions and states including Yangon region to contain the spread of COVID-19.
