Chinese foreign ministry says Canada should stop engaging in political manipulation with "ulterior motives" on Xinjiang-related issues as Canada's parliament on Wednesday unanimously passed a motion to take in 10,000 Uyghur refugees.

"We urge the Canadian side to respect truth and facts... and stop spreading false information and misleading the public," says Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman.
