A bomb exploded near the electricity distribution management office in Mawlamyinegyun Township in Ayeyawady Region around on July 11.

“There were only a few pedestrians when the incident occurred, but the sound was very loud. Nearby residents said it was a twin-bombing,” confirmed a local.

No injuries were reported.

There have been three bomb blasts in this Township until now.
