A man alleged junta informer was killed on December 20 at a rubber plantation field in Khatiwa village, Sawphyar village tract, Dawei District, Thayet Chaung Township,Tanintharyi Division, according to a local resident.

The victim was identified as U Khin Maung Swe who lived on Mann Road between Shin Motti and Sawwa villages in Thayet Chaung Township.

The victim was found dead on his rubber plantation and no group has so far claimed responsibility for the shooting.
