Locals told Mizzima that a man accused of passing information to the junta’s troops was shot dead in the hours after five youths were killed as the junta rammed into protesters in Kyimyindine township.

A gunman reportedly shot Ko Min Min living in the Sin Min Housing, Sin Min Ward, while he was sitting in a circle next to the Buddhist community hall. According to eyewitnesses, Min Min died on the spot with two gunshot wounds to the head.
