Myanmar reported 729 more COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the tally in the country to 126,345, according to a release from the Ministry of Health and Sports Xinhua reported.

A total of 17 more COVID-19 deaths were reported on Sunday, bringing the death toll to 2,728 in total, the release said.

According to the ministry's figures, a total of 109,548 patients have been discharged from hospitals.
