Myanmar reported 1,108 more COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the tally in the country to 99,155, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health and Sports, Xinhua reported.

A total of 29 more COVID-19 deaths were reported on Sunday, taking the death toll to 2,110 in total, the statement said.

According to the ministry's figures, 77,636 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
