Myanmar reported 22 new COVID-19 infections and one more death in the past 24 hours, according to a release from the Health and Sports Ministry on Thursday, Xinhua reported.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has risen to 142,212 and the death toll has increased to 3,204 so far.

A total of 131,754 recovered patients have been discharged from hospitals as of Thursday.
