Chin National Defence Forces announced that at least 20 soldiers were killed in Falam township, China State, on 29 June morning.

During a 2 –hour exchange of fire, 4 CNDF members were also reportedly killed and 3 others received minor wounds.

The CNDF has warned people  to be vigilant of their movements in Falam Township as the conflict is expected to intensify although the situation seems to be stable at present.
