15 more imported cases of COVID-19 reported

Myanmar reported 15 more imported cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday night, bringing the number of infections to 394 in total, according to a release from the Ministry of Health and Sports Xinhua reported.

According to the release, the newly confirmed cases are returnees who were under quarantine in Yangon region after their recent arrivals from the Philippines and India.

Myanmar reported its first two confirmed cases of COVID-19 on March 23 this year and local transmissions were detected again a month after last local case on July 16.
