The Military Council

  • According to the junta newspaper, Ko Ko Mg, the junta chief military officer of southern headquarters, supported food items to former soldiers and indigenous people’s soldiers in Mon State.
  • Khin Yi, the junta minister of Immigration, went to the immigration training school and instructed that policies and procedures of the country must be taught and discussed.

The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • Via social media, Dr. Tukaung, Minister of Environmental Affairs- NUG, said that the NUG would get their required budget of 800 million US$ soon. They had also been equipping PDFs from every township with weapons.
  • Via social media, Dr. Tukaung said that over 17 million US$, which had been donated to the NUG and CRPH, was being spent on training costs, CDM support and arms procurement. There were a lot of globally recognized professionals who had been volunteering for statistics at the finance department.
  • U Yi Mon, Minister of Defence- NUG, said that comrades who lost their lives in the revolution deserve to be regarded as the public’s heroes. He also saluted all people’s soldiers who were fighting in battles. Regarding the civilians who lost lives and property in the revolution, the public’s government would take responsibility for them.
  • Ministry of Defence- NUG issued a code of conduct on warfare for the People’s Defence Force.

Revolution Activities

  • In Kawa Township of Bago Region, P. L. A blew up a MyTel telecom tower, owned by the family of the junta leader, in Adu village at about 10:30 pm Monday.
  • In Longlone Township of Taninthayi Region, a rally of basic education students marched against the military dictatorship on Tuesday morning.
  • In Longlone Township, there was a bomb explosion at the house of U Tun Min, administrator of Thaughtkyabyin village, at about 7:00 am Tuesday. Reportedly, his daughter died and his wife was injured in the incident.
  • Despite violent crackdowns by the junta armed forces, the students and the public from Longlone Township protested against the military dictatorship on Tuesday morning.
  • Dawei Assassination Team announced that they had cleared Daw San San Wai, clerk of Bonemaw Ward, with 4 gunshots.
  • At about 10:00 pm Sunday, the junta armed forces arrested Daw Hnin Nandar Aung, a teacher at Dawei Technology University.
  • In Kanbauk area, youth and students expressed their objection to the military dictatorship on Tuesday afternoon.
  • In Thonekwa Township of Yangon Region, Thonekwa Youth Force blew up a MyTel telecom tower near Sinkoe village cemetery at about midnight Monday.
  • In Thaketa Township, there was a campaign calling on the public to fight for freedom, scattering anti-junta brochures in markets.
  • On Tuesday morning, a combined rally of Ta-Ka-Tha students and Octopus protesters expressed their desire somewhere in Yangon, calling for the public’s effective participation in the revolution against the military dictatorship.
  • In Dawbone Township, Lwin Myo Oo, allegedly an informer to the junta, was shot dead at about 8:45 am Tuesday.
  • In Myaing Township of Magwe Region, Basic Education General Strike Committee, in cooperation with the public from the south-west zone, marched against the military dictatorship on Tuesday.
  • In Sagaing, Bantakyone, a member of the Police Force (16), joined the CDM and local PDFs.
  • On Tuesday morning, there was a protest against the military dictatorship in a village of Shwebo Township.
  • Amidst the rain, a combined rally of villages from Salingyi North and Yinmabin East expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship on Tuesday.
  • Kyaukse PDF announced that they had conducted a mine explosion at the electricity office in Sugone Ward at about 10:00 pm Monday.
  • In Mandalay, a rally of students’ unions marched for the downfall of the military dictatorship on Tuesday, chanting anti-junta slogans.
  • In Natogyi Township, the junta armed forces shot mortars in Shawphyu village. According to local residents, 4 villagers died, 4 others were injured and 3 houses were damaged.
  • In Loikaw of Kayar State (Karenni Area), there were 6 explosions on Monday night. Reportedly, two of them took place near the prison and police housing in Dawuku Ward.
  • In Myitgyina Township of Kachin State, Hocut village administrator was shot dead on 14th September.

Ethnic Armed Organizations

  • In Mon State, a convoy of military trucks from Thatone to Beelin was attacked with mines by a combined force of KNU and PDF on Tuesday morning. Reportedly, a military truck was damaged and there might be casualties in the incident.
  • In response to a question of Rakhine-based DMG news agency, Khine Thuka, spokesperson of ULA/AA, said that the people in the area under the influence of AA would be prioritized for COVID-19 vaccination, which would be provided by the military council.
  • According to KNU, there were more clashes in the area of KNU Brigade 5 in September. As for the military junta, they had a greater loss there.
  • In Maiyun of Shan East, the area under the control of UWSA, UWSA provided COVID-19 vaccination on Monday.
  • In Dimawso Township of Karenni Area, makeshift school halls of an IDP camp were damaged due to heavy rain and strong wind on Monday evening.
  • In fighting against the junta army invading 6 Mile village in Dimawso at about 12:00 pm Sunday, a member of KPDF lost his life. Reportedly, many others were injured and missing.

Summary on 22nd September

  • The NUG said that they would provide arms to PDFs in respective townships soon. Consequently, there might be more battles and activities of the urban guerrilla revolution.
  • Wherever he went, the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing talked about an electricity-based transportation system.
  • In Mandalay, Sagaing, Magwe, Yangon and Dawei, there were public protests against the military dictatorship every day without fail. As for Sagaing, Chin, Kayar, Kachin, Shan North and Kayin, had battled against the junta armed forces.
