Duwa Lashi La, the acting president of the National Unity Government (NUG), said on December 12 that he would like to work with the Arakan National League (ULA / AA) on the revolutionary journey to overthrow the military dictatorship.

“We want to work with the Arakan National League (ULA / AA) on the revolutionary journey to overthrow the dictatorship and for National Equality, the full-fledged self-determination and the emergence of an independent society in the Union of Myanmar,” said Duwa Lashi La.

On December 10, the Arakan Army (AA) issued a statement urging Rakhine people to be militarily alert as fighting could break out in Rakhine State at any time.
