Minibus carrying junta soldiers attacked on Sagaing to Monywa Road

The Myaung Revolution Army (MRA) used landmines to attack a minibus carrying about 30 junta soldiers on the Sagaing to Monywa Road in Sagaing Region.

The MRA released a video of the attack that took place on the Sagaing to Monywa Road between Nat Yay Kan Village and Yay Poe Sar Village, at around 10:30 am on 2 August.

A resident of Monywa Township said: "The minibus was driving from Sagaing to Monywa. It got hit by MRA mines on the way. The local resistance forces seem to have inside information. Many soldiers were hurt.”

On 30th July, Sagaing District Battalion (5) of the MRA attacked a car carrying recently graduated police officers from No (3) Police Academy in Sagaing on the Sagaing to Monywa highway, according to the MRA.
