In "The Dark Side of Coal" director Nyan Gyi investigates the surge of the use of coal in Myanmar. Although the country has only one coal-fired power plant, Thai and Chinese companies are very willing to help to create more coal-powered energy. But the rules and regulations are not sufficient to control the fast growth of coal as power source. So, the people, the environment and the planet as a whole, ultimately pay the price.
