Rakhine State National Force of Myanmar sometimes referred to as Union of Myanmar National Force Arakan State Party or Myanmar Rakhine National Force Party (MRNFP) is led by Aye Kyaing who in 1990 elections, contested as a candidate of the National Unity Party (NUP) a government backed party, but failed to win. The party is based in Rangoon, the former capital of Burma, and the first branch office was opened in Mrauk U.
The party has branch offices in 14 townships including Sittwe, Kyawk Taw and Myauk Oo, out of a total of 17 townships in Rakhine State. It is now awaiting permission from the Election Commission to go to three divisions - Rangoon, Irrawaddy, and Sagaing for organizational work
