Background
Myanmar Rakhine National Force Party (MRNFP) previously caled Rakhine National Force Party, is led by Aye Kyaing who in 1990 elections, contested as a candidate of the National Unity Party (NUP) a government backed party, but failed to win. The party is based in Rangoon, the former capital of Burma, and the first branch office was opened in Mrauk U.

THe MRNFP claims that it is not a party that tries to impress people with individuals’ degrees and Honors in order to gain power. The party will try to serve to benefit Rakhine State and Rakhinese People without seeking assistance from foreigners. The party will try to build a democratic country by peaceful means and ensure that every citizen can enjoy Human Rights and equality. Moreover, the party will also try to improve all underdeveloped sectors at the state level, eliminate unemployment and increase and improve the middle class society.

The party has branch offices in 14 townships including Sittwe, Kyawk Taw and Myauk Oo, out of a total of 17 townships in Rakhine State. It is now awaiting permission from the Election Commission to go to three divisions - Rangoon, Irrawaddy, and Sagaing for organizational work
