The Ishara Puppet Theatre Trust performed the ‘Images of Truth’ at the National Theatre, Yangon, yesterday where it was warmly received.Ishara in its own special style uses puppets, masks, objects, actors and dance to present the varying images.
To date the performance is one of Ishara’s most popular performances for both adults and children. Dealing with the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi, the non-verbal performance is a series of visual images set to contemporary music from different countries portraying the universal nature of his message.
