Job Description:
The network engineer job is to supervise computer networks and the job entails creating and setting up the ways in which the network can be configured and managed.
Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining, configuring and supporting computer communication networks within an organization Identifying, diagnosing and resolving network problems
- Creating and making documentation for all implemented devices and services
- Installing new hardware such as servers, printers, computers, etc
- Overseeing security of all systems
- Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades
- Managing user accounts, permissions, passwords, anti-virus protection and email
- Suggesting and providing IT solutions to business problems
- Giving Technical support for people using network
- Planning and implementing future IT developments
Qualifications:
- Experienced and have knowledge about TCP/IP network and Server Services
- Experienced in Windows and Linux Operating System
- 2 years of experience as a Server/Network engineer
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
