The China North Industries Corporation (NORINCO) and the Myanmar Armed Forces (MAF) have pledged to expand collaboration with a view to expanding defence trade and related technologies, according to a report by Jane’s 360.
The report said that NORINCO had announced the expanding partnership in a press release on 28 November, although the agreement was secured a few days earlier in meetings between NORINCO president Wen Gang and Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, commander in chief of the MAF.
