Myanmar Buddhist activists staged a protest alongside Rohingya Muslims in Kuala Lumpur, calling for an immediate end to the violent crackdown against student protesters in Myanmar, reports Channel News Asia on March 11.
The demonstration on March 11 outside the Myanmar embassy in Malaysia’s capital called for an immediate end to the police crackdowns on students in Myanmar protesting for changes to the National Education Law.
The protests came one day before President U Thein Sein is due for a two-day state visit.
