Role of personnel crucial in maintaining closer bilateral relations

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received the Ambassador of India to Myanmar H.E Mr. Gautam Mukhopadhaya at Bayintnaung villa, Nay Pyi Taw, on 25 June. 
The Commander-in-Chief stressed bilateral communication between the two armies at the border was important in ensuring good relations.In addition, joint combing operations and actual meetings between the armed forces of the two nations were an important part of the relationship. 
He also added that the role played by personnel at the border was of vital importance in maintaining closer bilateral relations between the two countries for peace and stability at the border.
