The Nationwide Ceasefire Co-ordinating Team (NCCT) meeting will take place 2-6 June according to posts on social media and the VOA Burmese Service on 21 May.
The meeting, to be held at Law Khee Lah in Karen State follows on from an ethnic leader’s summit held at Panghsang, Wa Special Region-2 from 1-6 May.
It is hoped that participants in the meeting can approve or amend a draft nationwide ceasefire agreement that was agreed to on 31 March by the NCCT and the Government.
