Military administration order in Kokang region lifted

The Myanmar government has lifted the military administration order in Shan state's Kokang region as the situation there has returned to normalcy, according to an order of the President's Office, IANS reported on 18 November.
The lifting of the order under the state of emergency was announced in view of the return of normal administration, village tranquillity and rule of law, the order said.
It was effective from 17 November.
