NTT opens branch office in Rangoon

NTT Communications Corporation (NTT) has announced a subsidiary has opened a branch office in Burma to work with local carriers to provide ICT solutions to multinational companies to expand their telecommunications operations.
The branch is the first to be launched in Burma by a foreign telecommunications company, said a NTT statement released on Wednesday.
NTT currently provides ICT solutions, including cloud, international and local networks, data centers, system integration and security, to multinational companies in the Greater Mekong Sub-region.
NTT is a long-distance and international communications and ICT solution provider ranked the No. 1 telecommunications company in the world (ranked 29th in the Fortune Global 500 list of 2012), according to its company website.
With the addition of the Burmese branch, NTT network of subsidiaries and offices has expanded to seven cities in five countries of the Greater Mekong Sub-region.
NTT Communications Group has subsidiaries and offices in 87 cities in 31 countries/regions around the world.
