Myanmar Payment Union (MPU) has signed an MoU with Korea’s KEB Hana Card, business website dealstreetsasia.com reported on 2 May.
The agreement means that users of MPU will gain access to services provided by the Korean card firm. The signing is just a first step towards a full-fledged service offering, the report quoted U Mya Than, chairman of MPU as saying.
The same story reported that MPU was also in talks with US-based Master Card.
