From April 20 to 21, at the invitation of ACHC, a delegation of 15 Shan youth leaders from Shan Unity Party of Northern Myanmar and Myitkyina, Waing Maw, Tar law Gyi and Sin Bo visited and investigated Chipwi Nge HPP.

During the investigation, the delegation visited Chipwi Nge Dam and powerhouses successively. ACHC, together with Chinese and Myanmar's engineers at Chipwi Nge HPP, made detailed introduction to dam construction, dam safety, flood control and power generation, environmental protection, unit operation, computer centralized control, power transmission and power supply, and social liability and activities for the surrounding people, and answered all the questions concerned by delegates.

The Secretary-General of Shan Unity Party of Northern Myanmar thanked the Company for its open and frank introduction which is a great benefit to all members of the delegation and said that he would do his best to publicize the real situation of the Ayeyawady Project to the public.

The Shan Unity Party of Northern Myanmar, also known as the Five-star Party, is currently the main Shan party in northern Myanmar. Its headquarters is in Mandalay and its members are distributed in Sagaing Region, Mandalay, Shan and Kachin State.
