Webinar held on role of business in promoting inclusion for people with disabilities

The Embassy of Israel in Myanmar in collaboration with the Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business – MRCB, Myanmar - Israel Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Innovation (MICCI), and Access Israel have organized two webinars to share experiences on the role of business in promoting accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities in Myanmar. The target audience in Myanmar were businesses and big employers, according to a statement.

The second online webinar titled – “Technologies for Business to Consumer Services: Making it Possible” was held on Tuesday 12th January 2021, and aimed to raise awareness among Myanmar business leaders, by sharing current Myanmar and international/Israeli good practice and success stories of assistive technologies for people with disabilities.

The workshop was intended for Myanmar businesses and particularly those involved in human resources. This event conducted with Myanmar language captioning & English language captioning together with a simultaneous audio translation and continuous Myanmar sign language interpretation.

The Access Israel experience in the field of people with disabilities is enormous and they have contributed great deal to develop the knowledge the best practices of this field in Myanmar, the statement said.
