The Ministry of Education is trying to reopen universities as soon as possible after the Covid-19 epidemic has ended, but it is unlikely to reopen until February.

Due to the spread of the virus during university exams, schools and universities have been closed for about nine months.

Despite the recent drop in the number of COVID-19 cases, it is not yet possible for schools to reopen their classrooms, according to a university source.
Educational sources told Mizzima that the Ministry of Education is considering reopening final year classes at university.

There are coordination meetings between the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health and Sports. Currently, universities are offering lectures and exams for master classes using the online Zoom app.
