Thuwunna stadium to be converted into COVID-19 quarantine centre

COVID-19 Pandemic Temporary Clinical Centre (Thuwunna), Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr. Kaung Myat Soe told Mizzima that 416 laboratory confirmed case patients would be admitted at the new quarantine centre built inside the Thuwunna artificial turf pitch stadium of Myanmar Football Federation.

Four temporary buildings are being built inside Thuwunna artificial turf pitch stadium accommodating COVID-19 pandemic clinical centre. Each building can accommodate 104 patients.

Each cubicle in these buildings has the dimension of 3x2 metres. Currently the positive cases in Yangon are sent to Hline, Dagon Seikkan and Yoma Yeiktha quarantine centres.
