Seagram Myanmar, a leading manufacturer and distributor of whisky in Myanmar, held the launch event for Seagram’s 100 Pipers Blended Scotch Whisky at the Rosewood Hotel, Yangon, according to a press release.

Introduced in 1965 by Chivas Brothers, Seagram’s 100 Pipers is currently sold in over 25 markets around the world. It is the 2nd largest selling Scotch Whisky brand in Asia, and the first internationally renowned Scotch Whisky brand to be produced in Myanmar.

Matthieu Glorieux, Managing Director of Seagram Myanmar said: “Seagram Myanmar is on a mission to create a premium conviviality experience for Myanmar consumers. We have launched Seagram’s High Class & Seagram’s Imperial Blue whiskies earlier and now with Seagram’s 100 Pipers, we have a portfolio of global brands for every whisky consumer in Myanmar. After being distilled, matured and blended in Scotland, Seagram’s 100 Pipers is bottled in Myanmar to the highest quality standards. It comes in a brand-new packaging with tamper-proof caps, that guarantee authentic product and taste in every sip. The launch of 100 Pipers in Myanmar will enhance partnership with our business associates, distributors, and retailers.”

Seagram Myanmar was formed officially in July 2019, following a joint venture partnership agreement between Pernod Ricard, Win Brothers, Yoma Strategic Holdings Ltd, and Delta Capital Myanmar announced in May 2018.

Currently, Seagram Myanmar has three brands in the market – Seagram’s High Class, Seagram’s Imperial Blue and its new product, Seagram’s 100 Pipers.
