A headmistress of a primary school in Mogok Township of Mandalay Division has been charged with links to the Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), according to a post on the Myanmar Police Force's Facebook page.

The headmistress had a social connection with a TNLA member and "provided information on the movements and encampments of the Tatmadaw troops," the statement said. It said she had been in daily contact by telephone, Viber, Facebook account and Messenger, making phone calls, texting and video calling, meeting in person and delivering food and supplies to TNLA troops.

Phone numbers were found in the headmistress's telephone and reciprocal records were also verified in Viber and Messenger.
