Myanmar-based startup incubator Phandeeyar has invested $25,000 in restaurant booking and discount app platform Resdi, according to a dealstreetasia report.

The funding, which is part of its newly launched investment initiative, will help Resdi ramp up its headcount, develop new products, and expand its platform to reach a wider audience.

The company’s name, which is the acronym of ‘Restaurant Discount’, offers restaurant bookings and discounts at off-peak hours. It was founded by Zay Ye Htut (currently its CEO) and Thiha Htet Nain (its COO). The funding marks a follow-up investment after the firm secured $3,000 in Phandeeyar’s 2018 Startup Challenge, the report said.
