Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) MP from Pyawbwe constituency Thaung Aye said that after the 7-day deliberations on the second amendment of constitution, the public will get the benefit of realizing the vision and objective of drafting this constitution and the role of the Tatmadaw (Defence Services) in this.

He said this is response to a question by the media at parliament on March 6.

“We got the benefit from these deliberations. The common people will know this constitution was drafted in what vision and what objective and how much it will benefit to them. And also the people will know the role of Tatmadaw which is the major talking point in these constitution amendment deliberations,” he said.

The deliberations on bill of second amendment of the constitution have been completed and it will be decided by division of votes starting from March 10 in parliament.
