An official from the Myanmar Rice Federation said that Myanmar was able to achieve its target of rice exports of 2.5 million tons in more than 11 months of the current fiscal year (FY) 2019-2020, MENAFN reported.

By the 11th of September in the current FY, the country exported more than 2.53 million tons of rice and broken rice.

In the period from Oct. 1, 2019 to Sept. 11, the country saw more than USD774.89 million from exports of 1.58 million tons of rice and 947,933 tons of broken rice.
