Myanmar authorities seize 1.29 million stimulants in Mon state

Myanmar authorities seized 1.29 million stimulants in Mon state, according to a release from the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control (CCDAC), state media reported.

Acting on a tip-off, the joint police force made a seizure in Kyaikhto township on Monday.

Stimulants worth 6.45 billion kyats (over 4.6 million U.S. dollars) were confiscated.

On the same day, a total of 50,000 stimulants worth 150 million kyats (107,142 U.S. dollars) were seized in Hpa-an township of Kayin state.
