Myanmar and India vow cooperation on border security and drug control

Myanmar and India have vowed to cooperate on border security and drug control, Xinhua reported.

At their 24th meeting of officials of the two countries at the regional level held in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday, the two sides also had discussions on border management and detained persons from the two countries as well as drafting of a memorandum of understanding on wildlife trade and anti-human trafficking and capacity raising matters.

The regional level meetings of border officials of the two countries have been held alternatively in Myanmar and India since 1994.
