The seventh batch of Myanmar citizens facing difficulties abroad due to the suspension of international flights amid COVID-19 were transported by a Korean airline’s relief flight from Incheon Airport to Myanmar yesterday, state media reported.

The plane carrying 82 Myanmar citizens from South Korea and 88 Myanmar citizens from Belgium, Canada, Spain, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, France and America landed at Yangon International Airport at 8 pm.

Upon arrival, the 170 passengers were subject to medical examinations and had their 21-day quarantine arrangements made for them by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population, the Ministry of Health and Sports, and the Yangon Region government.
