Authorities seized 31.9 kilograms of methamphetamine (ice) in Shan state, according to a release from the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control (CCDAC) Xinhua reported.

Acting on a tip-off, the joint anti-narcotic police made a seizure in Tachilek township on Sunday.

Along with three suspects, 31.9 kilograms of methamphetamine worth over 797 million kyats (590,740 U.S. dollars) were seized from a car.
