Myanmar authorities have seized a large haul of controlled chemicals and stimulant tablets in Shan State, according to Xinhua.
Acting on tip-off, a joint police force busted a total of 28,468 litres of unknown controlled chemicals from a garage in Muse township this week, said the news agency quoting the Home Affairs Ministry.
The suspect involved evaded capture, however.
On the same day, 111,600 stimulant tablets worth about 220 million kyat (US$148,000) were confiscated in Lashio Township in Shan State, according to authorities.
