A Kachin beauty contestant, M Ja Seng, won the crown for Miss Ethnic Myanmar 2019 held in Myanmar's Yangon, Xinhua reported.

A gold crown with eight gems was presented to M Ja Seng, along with 15 million kyats (10,000 U.S. dollars) and she was selected to be an ambassador of Myanmar Ethnics Entrepreneurs Association (MEEA) to promote friendship and peace among ethnic nationals as well as traditional cultures of ethnic nationals.

Kayah ethnic representative Miss Ann Grace and Chin ethnic national Miss Sabrina lal Rem Ruat took first runner-up and second runner-up titles, respectively.
