Juneyao Airlines operated its maiden flight from Nanjing in East China's Jiangsu Province to Mandalay, Myanmar this week, according to Global Times.
It is the latest destination for the Chinese airline in Asia after Japan, Thailand, South Korea and the Philippines.
The route will be operated using an Airbus A320, three times a week. Juneyao Airlines has continuously improved its service in recent years, and its destinations have increased to nearly 20. The carrier will launch a route from Shanghai to Helsinki, Finland from June 28.
