ʻInnovation in Israel’ seminar held in Nay Pyi Taw

As part of the bilateral cooperation between Myanmar and Israel in the framework of a collaboration platform in different sectors, the Embassy of Israel organized a seminar on “Innovation in Israel” conducted by Special Guest Speaker, Prof. Jacob Bortman (from Ben-Gurion University, Israel) and the special Exhibition of Israeli Innovation Technology also presented during the event. 

The seminar was held on 4th December 2018 at MGallery Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw and the program started with ‘Hanaukkah’ Candle Lighting and followed by opening remarks of H.E. Mr. Ronen Gilor, (Ambassador of Israel to Myanmar), welcome remarks by Chief Guest U T Khun Myat (Speaker of Pyi Daung Su Hluttaw and Pyithu Hluttaw) and the presentation by Special Guest Speaker, Prof. Jacob Bortman, which was concluded successfully with Q and A session.

Altogether, about 80 parliamentary members and Union Government officials, as well as media also attended the seminar. The main purpose of the seminar is to be Strengthened Economic and Technological Relations between Myanmar and Israel.
