The Director General and Director from the Hydropower Implementation Department were charged and indicted on October 9, at Mandalay Region High Court for corruption.

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) registered the case against Hydropower Implementation Department DG Chit Toe and Director Min Khaing for their alleged role in abusing their power and position in implementation of projects and work.

Advocate Tun Kyi who represents Director Min Khaing said, “The case will be heard at the next hearing. Today they were produced before the court, charged and indicted. We submitted power of attorney today.”
