FMI City in Hlinetharyar will be transferred back to the Urban and Housing Development Department under Ministry of Construction on September 30.

The housing project implemented by developer FMI Garden Development Ltd. in 1995 currently has over 8,000 residents living in nearly 2,000 houses.

The Company issued a press statement on September 23 which says the company will transfer administration of housing and municipal works to the government upon completion of the project.

The housing project has a sports complex, shopping centre, meat vegetables and fish market, bank, food court and garden.
