The Ministry of Health and Sports issued a press statement on July 27 which says that production of movie, TV serials and commercial breaks will be permitted with one weeks prior request. 

Myanmar Motion Picture Association Chairman Nyi Nyi Tun Lwin said, “This announcement covers all productions of movies, TV serials and commercials. The announcement says that producers must inform the ministry at least one week before shooting with information on shooting date and time and number of participants in shooting. Then the production can be made.” 

Ministry of Health and Sports and Ministry of Information are reportedly instructed applicants to comply with the COVID-19 pandemic precautions of hand sanitizers in shooting, social distancing 6-feet apart by film crew when in rest, use of loudhailers by directors in shooting, staying in good ventilation, use of minimal manpower in shooting etc.”
