COVID-19 cases rise to 119

The National Health Laboratory (Yangon) released the test results of the first batch of 181 lab specimens on 20-4-20 where 6 tested positive for COVID-19 and 175 tested negative, state media reported.

The 6 new COVID-19 positive patients will be transferred to appropriate hospitals. There have been 119 people who tested positive for COVID-19 as of 8:00 pm on 20-4-2020.

Nine of the positive patients are now free of the virus and four of them were discharged from hospitals on 20-4-2020, making the total number of hospital discharges 6.

They are quarantined for a definite period currently. Two patients are under intensive care in Waibargi Specialist Hospital and the other patients are all in stable condition.
