The number of confirmed Covid-19 (coronavirus) cases has reached 243 so far, according to figures released by the Health and Sports Ministry, state media reported.

Two more cases were reported on 7 June. The last two cases were those who returned from India and Thailand.

The newly confirmed cases were from Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw.
